Long-term marketing
No matter how it sounds that marketing can be a long-term it can be: Propaganda / Advertising NO, but the entire marketing can.
Long-term marketing needs to apply either state or firms that will last several generations.The question is - HOW?
WHY? we know the answer, because it is profitable in the long period of time has a lower cost per unit.
There are several elements and pathways of long-term marketing:
1. Targeting a specific market segment.
Tennis - Tennis play most influential people, or who want to be, and the promotion of recreation activities in this domain targets the decision makers.
2. Targeting future leaders.
Competitions in wrestling, rowing, chess, etc. this kind of sport, hobby.
Neither the president, prime minister, minister of foreign affairs, etc. were not football, basketball star, has been concerned with supporting sports and activities.
None of them was a 'hot dog' in their youth, 'stud', etc.
3. Organizing student games, Universiade ....
For the promotion of a country or city is essentially a supporting organization of the event, which will come as a leader, and lead them 'men of the shadows' that are in the management of sports clubs, cultural and artistic societies, but some major events.It is for big and rich countries and cities orgamniying big events.
So we have an example of the grave problems of Greece as it is indebted for the Olympics.
4. Education at universities.
An example of the military school. How many times have you read in newspapers that the some economic delegation had a 'pass' because it is the interlocutor of African States, studying at the some Military Academy or Univerity.
